Benton gets state's first Pie Five Pizza

Dallas-based Pie Five Pizza Co. is opening its first Arkansas location this week with a made-to-order pizza restaurant in the Hurricane Creek Village Shopping Center in Benton.

Arkansas franchisee Rob Byford has plans to open several more throughout the state in the coming months, said Chris Moses, president of Moses Tucker Real Estate. Moses Tucker is working with Byford on the new location and forthcoming stores.

Hurricane Creek Village, at the northeast corner of Interstate 30 and Alcoa Road in Benton, is anchored by Kroger and Academy Sports.

Pie Five is a subsidiary of RAVE Restaurant Group Inc., which owns, franchises and supplies more than 300 Pie Five and Pizza Inn restaurants operating domestically and internationally.
